Resumen
Las enfermedades infecciosas pueden producir una alteración hepática como parte de la infección sistémica. Es muy importante en pacientes con fiebre y alteración del perfil hepático descartar, entre otras causas, enfermedades infecciosas, incluyendo infecciones por virus no hepatotropos, infecciones bacterianas, infecciones por parásitos e infecciones fúngicas.

Abstract
Infectious diseases can produce liver impairment as part of the systemic infection. In patients with fever and an abnormal liver profile, it is very important to rule out infectious diseases including infections by non-hepatotropic viruses, bacterial infections, and parasitic and fungal infections, among other causes.
